I wasn't eating healthy as a teenager growing up but thankfully I was active enough to compensate my bad diet by playing variety of sports all the time. But when I turned 25 I began to realize my body functions much better with proper nutrition and adequate sleep. I learned more about the importance of body-mind connection. I went back to school and studied nutrition right after college. I was fascinated by how certain foods and nutrition timing effects our bodies. When I started competing I got more into it and really wanted to nail peak condition. I haven't stopped since then. I know that been eating the right way because I feel healthier and younger than ever. I counted my calories in the beginning, but I no longer need to since the habits are ingrained.
We all need to be more aware of our food choices and eat less of processed prepackaged meals. Specially if you live in the "First World countries" The abundance of food all around us too many opportunities to overeat. The way you cook your meals is crucial and so is making sure that the food you eat is always the best quality you can buy. (Organic, nonGMOs, grass fed, natural, not processed etc)

SANDOR MARGITTAI
I'm a certified personal trainer, all natural drug free men’s physique competitor and fitness model. An athlete all my life, I grew up as a gymnast and later ran track and played high school basketball. Later in 2010 I relocated to NYC so that I could pursue my dream of building a fitness career in the United States.
I have been helping people lose weight, gain quality muscle tone and shape at any age since 2005. I continuously educate myself but what I am most proud of is the 15 years of experience I gathered throughout my career. My motivational advice, meal plans, healthy recipes, exercise tips, workout videos are all just a bonus when you work with me.
As a certified personal trainer, I specialize in strength and conditioning, proper stretching techniques, weight loss and sport nutrition. My mixes of proven training methods and creative new approaches make me a unique choice you won't regret. I am known for body transformations and my clients are the real life examples of my work.
WHY I BECAME A TRAINER
What makes me get up in the morning and want to inspire people to better health and fitness?
Training has been a passion of mine for longer than I had realized. I initially went to college for international relations but never found a job what truly suited my personality and interests. Every time I was at the gym people approached me with questions I just knew then there's something I can offer for others. And it clicked as soon as I graduated I had a different calling. It was personal training.
It all comes down to passion and real life experience working with people 1 on 1. Everything else is easy to learn but it's also important to be patient and have the energy to inspire them day by day week by week keep them accountable for their actions come up with a plan and show them how it's done. It's something you cannot learn. You have to love it and enjoy every minute of it even on a bad day. I continuously learn about training and how to work with people on different fitness levels. You can't give away what you don't own. In order to work with someone effectively, you have to first own the knowledge.

MY PHILOSOPHY
My job is not only to help you with your training technique and proper form, I'm also on a mission to make you feel good about yourself through working out. I want you to have the desire to come in to the gym, I want you to think about your next workout, I want you to change your old habits and find new healthy ones. Take charge of your health and challenge yourself every day, do the work diligently and don't be afraid to sweat. When you start to trust the process then do an extra rep and another one and another one until it hurts. Stop counting the reps and start asking for more, let those muscles burn. Then finally I can say - I did my job by helping you. It was worth the struggle. Now it's on you to embrace the pain and keep moving forward! This journey never ends.
